Ladies Captain 2008

Mrs. Veronica Quinn.

Mrs. Veronica Quinn, known to everyone as Ronnie left her native Northumberland in 1966 and moved to Wirral. She has three children, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Since retiring eighteen months ago, Ronnie spends much of her time at the club, both on the course and as a member of the ladies committee, where she has held the position of Handicap Secretary and Handicap Assistant. She is also a voluntary worker at Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology doing hand and foot massage for patients and carers. Retirement has seen Ronnie’s handicap drop from 29 to 23. She is looking forward to her year as Ladies Captain and is hoping to play with most of the lady members.
