Council are pleased to introduce Bidstons 2012 Captains, Mal James and Marie Morgan.
Mal, from Hoylake is a retired Police Officer and has been a member of Bidston since 1999, although he has played at Bidston with the police golf society since 1974. His current handicap is 17 but hopes to get that down during the year ahead. “It’s such an honour to be selected to Captain Bidston Golf Club and I am looking forward to playing my part in the build up to our centenary in 2013.
Marie, who lives in Upton with her husband Chris, is a retired Company Director and only took up the game in 2006. She now has a very respectable handicap of 23. “Bidston is a great club and I am proud to fly the flag for the Ladies section. I am also looking forward to working with Mal this year”.
