Bidston Golf Club has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1913. We take pride in being a consistent choice of the Cheshire Golf Union for hosting both Men's and Women's Open Competitions.

The Course is fully open today with no restrictions.
Our mowing frenzy continues as we head in to the weekend and our first competitions of the season. The greens will be cut progressively lower as will the fairways.
The rough is a bit more challenging as we were let down with the loan of a large rotary mower, so it's taking a little longer than we would have liked because we're using our own kit
I actually hope we are getting close to the point where we can assume the course will be fully open unless advised otherwise.

Speaking of which, our Professional James Wilkinson, has announced he will be moving full time to Moreton Hills in order to concentrate on developing his career as a coach.
I'm sure all the members here will join me in thanking James for the last couple of years and wish him every success in the future.
